We stayed at Surfs Inn last summer. It is a very nice and clean motel. It has been sold for condos and will be closing the first of September.

I was just there in October. This can%26#39;t be true?!?!?!?!? Where is another great and affordable place to stay in or near Mad. Beach????

Of course, we%26#39;re theater fans, but I think most folks would enjoy it.

There are still some great places to stay on Madiera that aren%26#39;t condos. Shoreline looks to be on the same level with Surfs Inn and is relatively large. I haven%26#39;t seen any reviews yet for the Beachflower , a 4 unit that looks awesome and there is a nice looking independent called the Beach Suites Resort right on the beach. There is also a nice looking place next to the Sea Breeze condos called Seaside Motel. I%26#39;ve been hoping to see someone review them on here. The Sea Dawn also doesn%26#39;t look bad at all (it%26#39;s across the street from the beach and right on the intracoastal waters).

The only thing with the Beachflower and Sea View (I think that%26#39;s the name, which is next to the Seabreeze) is that they don%26#39;t have pools. The Sea View doesn%26#39;t really have a direct ocean view either, it%26#39;s a side view, they face the Seabreeze. I haven%26#39;t stayed at either, so I can%26#39;t comment on them. Surf%26#39;s Inn was ideal, it%26#39;s a shame they%26#39;re closing.

Wildwest ... that%26#39;s true about the pools. I was concerned that there was only one review for Holiday Isles and it was negative but I see a new review very much on the positive side posted in the last couple of days.

We stayed there last year, stayed in a condo this year. I liked Surf%26#39;s Inn. Perfect for the kids at the beach. Nice pool. My brother is there now. The closing for the condos is on hold, too big of market not enough buyers. They told my brother they are hoping to be around next year, we%26#39;ll see

I hope that%26#39;s true about them staying. Can anyone confirm this, as their website on the beachdirectory.com has disappeared. Thanks.
