Tropical Shores - Get one of the updated units. Some have been redone with all the upgrades (granite, tile, etc...) if it%26#39;s in your budget.

Tropical Shores is always a great place to recommend, especially when dealing with families.

It is not in walking distance to Siesta Key Village, however.

It is on Crescent Beach and there are some nearby places to eat and shop.

If you have to be by Siesta Village you will have to think about another hotel/condo option.

thanks for your info...what about siesta key crescent beach?...that has had some good reviews?

The Tropical Shores Resort is on Crescent Beach.

Siesta Key Village is closer to Siesta Beach. These are 2 different beaches.

I would agree with Realtor1 regarding this hotel.

Great for a family with a 6 year old.

Not in walking in distance to Siesta Village.

sorry....talking about the siesta sunset motel on crescent beach..my mistake..

There are 2 different places to stay that are owned by the same people.

The Siesta Sunset Beach House is close to Siesta Beach and the Siesta Key Village.

The Siesta Sunset Crecent Beach is further south and by the shops and restaurants by Crescent Beach.

They have a website where you can see pictures of the rooms and a map of the locations.

SRQ Girl- we are staying at the Siesta Sunset Cresent Beach in a couple of weeks. You said it was close to the shops in the Cresent Beach area. We have not been to Siesta Key before, would you consider it to be within walking distance? Thanks!!!

Yes, you are in walking distance to the shops and restaurants by Crescent Beach. (We re talking about a few shops and restaurants, however, not a Main St. type downtown.)

You will love the beaches in this area.

Enjoy.

SRQgirl- Thank you!!!

We recently had a very nice stay at Sunsets on the Key. (www.sunsetsonthekey.com). Around the corner from the village and down the block to the beach.
