which hotel with a teenager

Hi, we will stay 15 days in august in Orlando but don%26#39;t now in which hotel. I like the Royal pacific but that%26#39;s above my budget.

Six years ago we stayed in the Delta resort but i understand that the hotel is closed now.

Can anybody give me advise which hotel to choose for me and my daughter (16). Her only wish (??) is a huge pool and a fitness room.

I%26#39;m thinking of Sheraton vistana or one of the Marriott village hotels.

I have 3 teens we are staying at Windsor Hills in 10 days. Has a great pool with water slide and a fitness room. Great rates on 2 and 3 bedroom condos. Gets good reviews, close to WDW and new.

The World Center Marriott has wonderful pools with great slides and several hot tubs around . The rooms are just fine, standard issue Marriott. The pools at the Marriott Village hotels are nice, but not fancy. But you can use all three of them at the three Marriotts.

Perhaps have a look at the Sheraton Safari aswell.

Nice hotel, good location, with fitness centre and large pool with waterslide.

The theming gives it that little bit of extra character too.

Which theme parks do you plan to spend the most time in? The Sheraton and Marriott you mention are fairly central to all the parks. If you plan to spend all your time at Disney, the Sheraton Safari is very close to Disney. If you plan to spend most of your time at Universal, there are many hotels on Kirkman Road near the main entrance, such as the Doubletree and Holiday Inn, that would be very convenient.

We will rent a car, but shops nearby are also very welcome.

Our plans are Seaworld, universal/adventure island, animal kingdom, epcot, gatorland, silver springs, a waterpark, horsefarm visit, maybe a day to venice beach or tampa (busch gardens) and all the malls (shopping).

Is Marriott world center not too big, its looks like a huge fabric to me?

Depending on your budget....my daughter (15 year old teenager) LOVES Hard Rock hotels.

Why not dump the teenagers off at the Magic Kingdom with their hopper passes, some cash and tell em you will pick em up before the flight leaves to return home LOL.

Then you and hubby can pick whatever hotel YOU want!

Just kidding......

Nickoldeon has mega waterslides. Pop Century is cool but you only get one room unless you book two rooms adjoining.

Maybe a Villa ?

If Sheriton Vistana is in your budget, check out this location as and altrnative.

Orange Lake country club and resort has lots of activities for teenagers and adults. The club house is a great gathering place for teens to meet . The are also many pools on the resort. Although the resort is huge, ther is a shuttle bus on site to carry your or you teen to any location on the resort.

The resort is about 3 miles from World Drive and easy access to Disney.

However Sheraton Vistana and Marriot Village are closer to Universal and the shopping malls.

Anyway, just giving you some options. Hope you have a great time.

The Marriott World Center is pretty big,it%26#39;s a convention hotel. But that has a lot of advantages besides the great pools. WE found excellent rooms service, which is getting rarer and rarer and a lot of amenities like the business center.
