Please help: quite place but not too lazy.

Two young couple with two 2 y.o. kids are planning a trip to PCB area in a first week of Sept. We would like to have a nice calm water, clean beach and a stroller walk to dining and other activities (nothing big since we are with small kids). A house on a beach would be ideal but we don%26#39;t see too many choices... For now we consider Sterling Beach, Long Beach and West Panama city area. Budget up to $1400/week

Any help, advise or ideas are greatly appreciated!

Shazka, you must consider Long Beach Resort. Go to www.vrbo.com. There you will find an ample offering of condos advertised by the owners themselves. By september you should be able to get a really great deal within your budget. LBR is awesome, with a quiet, clean beach, just the right amount of kids around to let you know there is life and fun to be had. There are plenty of young couples visiting there. You can walk to a great restaurant by way of the beach or on the strip called Pineapple Willy%26#39;s. There is also Pompano%26#39;s across the road. There is the All American Diner for that easy Cheeseburger and Fries, and Wal Mart is a half mile. There is also Mcdonalds, and KFC, The Waffle House, and Backyard Burgers right at your front door. Shopping for souvenirs abounds around LBR also. We loved it, wouldnt dream of coming anywhere else. Good Luck!
