Casa Tua Restaurant

I was told by several people to not miss this restaurant when in SoBe. Is this true? Looked at their menu and the pastas look yummy. Should I cancel Blue Door at the Delano and try to get a table at this place?

Casa Tua Restaurant

Hello Hotel Snob...

We%26#39;ve never been to Casa Tua but have been to Blue Door several times. Blue Door has very good food and a great atmosphere. We always eat outdoors (they have table both inside and out) and enjoy the view overlooking the pool and people.

Know that it is VERY expensive - as in VERY... but what else would you expect from Delano!! However it%26#39;s one of my wife%26#39;s favorite restaurant so we go there fairly often.

Hopefully someone with Casa Tua experience will weigh in.

Cheers!

P.S. If you like seafood, you might want to seriously consider Nemo on Collins at 1st Street. Their outdoor patio is perfect for a quiet evening with the one you love.

If you want to splurge, then by all means go to Casa Tua.

Otherwise, I would head over to Grazie located on Washington and 7th Street. Absolutely great Italian food here and the service is great. Oh, did I mention that Casa Tua is EXTREMELY expensive? IMO, overrated as well.

Good luck!

CASA TUA.........ask for a table outside.

My husband and I just went to Casa Tua last night to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. If you%26#39;re looking for delicious food, impeccable service and the best ambiance on the beach, by all means go to Casa Tua. Our total, including two glasses of champagne, a bottle of wine, two antipastos, two entress and dessert was about $315 including tip 18% gratuity included on the bill). Fabulous, fabulous place. Perfect blend of homey, romantic, luxurious feel. VERY different from anything else on the beach. The most romantic tables are outside.
