Would love some input on great places from say Bradenton to Fort Myers for a great beach wedding and reception site.

A real nice place for a beach wedding in fort myers is at the Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa. Its a big resort right that has its own little beach, so no one is going to interfere. It is located right before the sanibel bridge. My friends sister got married there and then my mom works there and tells me that guests are having weddings constantly.

Sanibel Harbour is a great place. We were married there back in %26#39;99. The small beach is private..the only comment I would make is that on Saturdays and Sundays there is some boat traffic, although not heavy, that might cause some noise. (We were married on a Friday and didn%26#39;t have any difficulty.) They have several reception locations including a round 2nd floor room with a great view and a veranda for cocktails. You%26#39;ll see its picture if you pull up the site. They also have a yacht where you can have your cocktail hour or small reception. Best Wishes!

Sanibel has Westwind where friends of mine were married. Ft. Myers Beach try Wildwave or Surf N Us they are both old Florida style cottages and friends family can stay in the units and there is a church nearby for overflow parking-works really well for small weddings. My friends rented an arch, put flowers %26amp; greens all over it and was married in the arch with sunset behind them, it was beautiful. Congrats %26amp; Good Luck.

Check out Boca Grande- There is a beautiful little chapel right on the beach next to the Boca Grande Lighthouse that would be lovely for a wedding with reception either on Boca Grande or nearby Englewood, Venice or Port Charlotte. Boca Grande is about 1 1/2 hours north of Fort Myers. You might be able to find info if you do a search Boca Grande Beach Chapel. Congratulations!
