Hyatt Grand Cypress vs. Marriott Grande Vista

My family and I will be spending 15 nights in the Orlando area in early November. We have reserved a villa for 11 nights (while Grandparents are with us) and would like to stay in a resort for the final four nights. We have three small children (ages 3, 3, and 5) and would like a resort that will allow us to relax away from the theme parks. We%26#39;ll be hitting the parks while at the villa and just want some time to spend relaxing as a family - as much as one can with two three year olds!! We would greatly appreciate any recommendations or advice. Many thanks!

Don%26#39;t know the Marriott Grande Cypress, but the Hyatt Grand Cypress is a really good resort and has everything. % to a room might be more togetherness than I would want, but there are the Villas of Grand Cypress as well and they rent from 1-4 bedrooms.

One other option - I haven%26#39;t tried, but is new and getting good reviews - is Omni ChampionsGate Resort. Check the room square footage for all three, but I think you%26#39;ll find the Hyatt and Omni might be more what you%26#39;d want. I%26#39;m a Hyatt, Marriott and Omni frequent stayer, and all treat folks in their programs really well.

My husband and I took our 1yr. old in April to Marriott Grande Vista. We did only Sea World and shopped. All other days we were at the pools, paddle boats (they look like the most precious rubber duckies and Swans). We could have stayed another week and just hung around the hotel and the pools. The kiddie pool with all the fountains and water guns are thrilling for kids and adults alike. We are particular about rooms. We requested a newer room in advance and were not disappointed. They have newer constructed buildings that I have read are just furnished more up to date and of

course newer surroundings.

try horizons by marriott. across street from cypress harbour. we stayed there in may and it is an incredible place to stay if you have children. a pirate ship in the pool w/ water sprinklers and fountains and small water slides everywhere. we toured cypress harbour and it is nice but very, very spread out. horizons has a great game room and outdoor bar/restuarant all on a lake. perfect for your kids ages. request a condo overlooking pirateship!! 2boys
