Is it easy to go from park to park in WDW in one day

Hi

We are going to Orlando and are just spending one day in WDW, have two older boys who do not want to spend any longer and two smaller ones who have not been before. The have chosen a couple of rides in MGM, Evererest and Soaring and if its possible Splash Mountain In MK IS THIS POSSIBLE. Can we get from park to park easily. I have never been before.

Thanks for your help

Is it easy to go from park to park in WDW in one day

Im sure it is physically possible but I think it would be a complete an utter disaster particuarly for the small children who have never been. Personally I wouldn%26#39;t attempt two parks in one day let alone four.

Sorry I can%26#39;t be more helpful - I would suggest picking one of the four parks that appeals the most and then if you have time you can go on to another patk late in the day and hope the crowds have died down.

Good Luck!

Since you%26#39;ve mentioned rides in all 4 parks,I would definitely not recommend it.

We%26#39;ve been to Disney 6 times, and on our last trip we did 3 parks in one day. We were only able to do the main rides at each, and found it a bit stressful and unfulfilling compared to normal touring.

Could you try 2 parks per day instead, over 2 days? I think this would work much better, even if you are on a tight schedule.

I have just returned from Orlando last week after spending 2 weeks doing the Disney thing. I wouldn%26#39;t waste my time with Soarin%26#39; . We queued for an hour and half for it and well lets just say it was a let down. MT Everest was worth it though. Get there early and get your FASTPASS, We arrived at 9.30am and the FastPAss return time was already 3pm. Its easy to get from Park to park and disney supply coaches, but I wouldn%26#39;t bother MGM is good and FantasMIC show rounds off a long day in style, but don%26#39;t get too near the front or you will get soaked. Have fun!!

While I think Soarin is a great ride, no ride is worth waiting an hour and a half for. Of course that%26#39;s someone with an annual pass, who can go anytime, talking.

It%26#39;s really not reasonable to consider more than two parks in one day, due to the transportation time between them. So narrow it down to the two top park picks and work from there. For a first timer, I really recommend spending the entire day in a single park, but if you time it right as far as opening and closing hours, you can see the highlights of two parks in one day.

As everyone has said Nelderwoman don%26#39;t do it!!! You%26#39;ll kill yourself trying.

I would also like to add that you have to factor in the wait time to enter the parks. You will have to wait in line for the bus, boat, or monerail, and go through security at each park you visit.

Also, depending on what time of year you are going, the parks close early in the fall/winter.

We also have season passes, it takes over an hour for us to go from park to park, get through the gate, walk to the ride and wait in line. And this is from someone who knows the layout of the parks and where the rides are.

No way!!! Disneyworld is more than 42 square miles (bigger than Manchester)!!! 2 days in MK, 1 in MGM, 2 in EPCOT and 1 in AK would be the minimum for a first timer I would say.

Thanks Everyone for the advice

We shall start in one park and %26#39;Just suck it and See%26#39;

Happy Holidays

My family always park hops on a single day BUT we have been to Disney many times-if you haven%26#39;t been, and with kids, I%26#39;d say a maximum of two parks a day. the transportation between parks is time consuming unless you are driving and then you still have to park and walk to the gate. Less is usually more at Disney

Don%26#39;t try to do more than two parks in one day; they are just too spread out and too far apart from one another to do this efficiently.

What you should do is pick the park which has the most rides they want to do and go there first, then pick the second favorite and stick with only those two parks. Park hopping is just too hard to do at Disney to try to tackle more than two in one day.

Universal would be a different story since they are right next to one another; you can easily park hop there, but not at Disney.
