we%26#39;re off tosouth beach in a week, and i was planning some activities for me and my wife in case of rain. we%26#39;re staying at the south seas, and wanted to know of a couples massage near that area that we could do if it%26#39;s raining. if anyone knows of a place for us to look into, we%26#39;d appreciate it. also, any rainy day ideas would be appreciated. we%26#39;ll have a rental car. thanks in advance for any ideas.

To do a couples thing - you should consider the Hotel Victor, The Ritz-Carlton, the Setai, or the new ';bath house concept'; at the Standard(Check out their Sunday afternoon parties as well).

If you will have a rental car, the spa at Miami%26#39;s Mandarin Oriental is divine. It is about 15 minutes drive from South Beach to Brickell Key. The restaurants at the Mandarin are also lovely if you decide to include a meal with your visit.

Be certain to book treatments in advance of your visit and confirm by telephone directly a week prior. There have been issues with online booking sites not confirming treatments. A quick phone call will ensure your appointment is set!

Other rainy day activities are the Duck Tour at Lincoln/Washington, the Wolfsonian Museum at 10/Washington, the BASS museum at 21 Collins, the Lucky Strike Lanes cocktail bowling alley at Lincoln/Michigan, cruise ship watching from Smith %26amp; Wollensky at the southernmost point of South Beach (around 3 every afternoon - the club sandwiches and burgers are divine), the Outlet Malls ';Dolphin or Sawgrass Mills';, the Miami Art Museum Downtown, or... at the far western end of Lincoln Mall is an 18 plex movie theater.
