Fuddpucker's

Is Fuddpucker%26#39;s worth seeing? Do you have to wait to get in or is there a best time to go. Or are there better values for seafood and eating for a large group?

Take your kids to feed the gators and eat somewhere else.

The food is really bad. Stop and take a look around and leave.

Agreed. The food is horrible.

In answer to your restaurant question, search this forum because there have been several restaurant related threads in the last month.

Seems like folks enjoy Pompano Joes, Capt. Dave on the Gulf...

We were there last Sunday 7/2 @ 3:30. There was a 30 minute wait at that time. It didn%26#39;t seem long though. By the time we had a drink, the kids played on the playground and looked at the alligators our table was ready. The hours to feed the gators are from 11 to 5:00. They were not eating the bait people were trying to feed them @ 4:00. Maybe feed them earlier in the day. We had sandwiches and thought they were good.

I have eaten here several times over the years. The food is pretty decent. In the peak season there can be a 1-2 hour wait but so is every other place in town.Pompano Joes is the best, followed by Tony,s in Destin Commons. They have the best lasagna and white chicken pizza you will ever get.Hardrock Cafe has awesome burgers.Another of my favorites is the Destin Diner. Its an old railroad looking thing but man do they have good shakes.Osaka is a good time too.Good food, fun atmosphere,a bit expensive, but worth it.The worst meal I had was at a Mexican place in back of Holiday Plaza I cant remember the name.

Semco1,where do you like to eat?

The only thing worth having at Fudpuckers is a Fud-Punch. Its the best rum punch in destin. It will kick you butt too. If you have kids, let them play on the playground while you have a punch, and then go somewhere else worth eating at.--IMO

We thought the food and the prices at the Destin Diner was really good. The kids thought it was cool to eat in a dining car. Made you think of the 50';s era.

We went to Fuddpuckers in June, we took are 2 small boys and they enjoyed the atmosphere. I didn%26#39;t think the food was bad at all, I thought the price was competitive to all the other seafood restaurants in Destin. We went earlier in the day around lunch / brunch about 2pm and the wait was about 30 minutes but we did the alligator feeding picture thing (the wife insisted) so the time didn%26#39;t seam that long.
