like I mentioned before I was looking to visit sanibel island end of april, now what airport would i fly into? do they have car rentals there as well? I plan on staying around 7 nights. There will be 3 adults and no children. We are looking to have a relaxing visit, vacation from work!!!

I belive Ft Meyers (Regional Southwest RSW) is the closest airport (about a 45 minute drive). It%26#39;s a decent sized airport so there are many carriers including AirTran %26amp; Southwest -- we got great rates from AirTran. Most major car rental agencies are located on-site; a short walk from the gate. Be sure to to get directions from the airport to Sanibel; due to construction and poor signage we missed the correct exit. There is a toll bridge when you leave the mainland to get onto the island so you%26#39;ll need some cash. It%26#39;s an easy drive %26amp; there is outlet shopping just before the bridge if you are interested.
