Late night drinks/cocktails

Hi all,

there are 8 of us travelling to SoBe next weekend for the Madonna Concert. We are 4 couples (early to mid 30%26#39;s) Any recommendations for a few late night after dinner drinks? Not so much the club scene..more the lounge scene. Thanx!

The hotels due south of 21st and Collins play host to poolside parties starting in the afternoon. Start early evening and wander south from the Townhouse (Bond Street Sushi lounge in the basement and then a cocktail up on the water bed loungey roof) to the Shore Club (SkyBar, Nobu, Ago) to the fabulously tropical 5star Setai and the Raleigh (a must-see pool area with a fabulously affordable menu in a tropical setting out back) and the Delano (Rose Bar inside and super-sexy cabana area). On Sundays there is a shuttle from the afternoon pool party at the Raleigh to their sister hotel the Standard on the west side of town. Inquire at the desk.

Stop and check out Saga and Social at the Sagamore. Part art gallery, part clubby lounge, you can order a few ';tapas'; small plates at Social and have a drink and wander through the extraordinary collection of contemporary art on site...

Further south, there is Vix at the Hotel Victor, and the campy tropical Mangoes on 9th %26amp; Ocean.

For live music, try Jazid on Washington, or the 2nd floor of Van Dyke at Lincoln and Jefferson.
