I am thinking about applying for seasonal employment at the Naples hospital for the winter. Has anyone done this? What is their housing like? Are there other Florida hospitals that do this kind of thing with seasonal healthcare professionals? (I am a physical therapist with 10 years of experience.) thanks for the help and tips!
seasonal healthcare employment
NCH is always in desperate need of seasonal employees. They couldn%26#39;t run the hospitals in season without these people. You could make tons of money, if you were able to arrange affordable housing. Seasonal housing rental prices are very high here. However, if the hospital provides you with housing, ask them to give you the names of the complexes they use, and we can give you feedback. BTW, NCH runs 2 hospitals: Naples Community Hospital is downtown, and North Collier is in the northern part of the county. Cleveland Clinic is no longer in business here. They sold out to another company.
I would venture to guess that most hospitals in Southern Florida (east and west coasts) hire seasonal employees. If you%26#39;re looking specifically in SW Florida, you might also consider the Lee Memorial Health System (2 campuses) in Fort Myers, Cape Coral Hospital in Cape Coral. Charlotte County has 3 hospitals: Charlotte Regional, Fawcett, and Bon Secours/St. Joseph.

There is also a new hospital being built in Naples on 951 near Rattlesnake Hammock (not far from Lely Resort) I saw a large sign up this weekend stating they are now taking applications so it must be getting ready to open soon - I%26#39;ll get the phone number next time I go by and post it -
Good Luck...
