I was telling someone at work about World Trade Centre the movie and it unfortunately comes out in the States just as we leave.
I would have liked to have seen it over there and wondered what the vibe was in the build up to the film in the states?
WTC - The Movie
Perhaps I%26#39;ve had my head in the sand, but I%26#39;ve not heard anything about it yet myself.
WTC - The Movie
Wow I had totally forgot about that movie!! I knew they were making one, but for some reason I thought it had already been released and had flopped.
So if that gives you any indication of any build up, I have not heard anything about it in a long time, and have yet to see a preview. Or that may just be me, someone else may be hearing about it all the time.
My head is buried right next to yours. I don%26#39;t know anything about it either.
Hubby and I have gone to the movies four or five times in the last few months. I don%26#39;t recall any previews for any movie like this.
That big a deal huh!?
The website is up and running now with some documentary stuff.

I think it will be a really emotional film for people particularly in America and the UK. Film is out in the USA on 9.8.06
We always go to the movies in Orlando as it%26#39;s a totally different experience to over in the UK - and I would have liked to see this film while in America but I think I%26#39;ll just miss it (and the missus doesn%26#39;t want to see it , duh).
There hasn%26#39;t been too much hype about it but I have heard that it%26#39;s coming out in early August, it%26#39;s an Oliver Stone film. I don%26#39;t think we will see it as we%26#39;ve already seen a film about 911 and can%26#39;t sit through another accounting of the horrific events of that day. I especially wouldn%26#39;t want to see it on vacation.
Yes, I can understand that.
I suppose you wont know what it is actually about until you see it yourself as everyone will take something different from it should they decide to see it. I want to take something positive out of it so will go see it somewhere.
I don%26#39;t think of it as a disaster movie. I don%26#39;t think there is any morbid curiosity over the film, we all know what happened on 9/11, but this more a story of a triumph of the human spirit.
I think there are many other films which have depicted tragic historic events but provided some positivity and people can walk out of the cinema with their heads high.
I just wondered how it would be received in the States.
