villas
I think Windsor Hills and Windsor Palms are close to I-Drive, but you might to ask around. I have never stayed at either of these places. We prefer to stay away from that area just because it is SO busy! We rent a villa in Davenport/Clermont area. I think ';tourmaline'; or ';healin1'; might know about this??!!! Good luck! And, when will you be traveling to Orlando?
villas
Look for villas east of Disney. This website is great for finding the various sub-division and how close they are to different things.

Windsor Hills and other places off 192 West past the I-4 intersection are further fron I-Drive than many of the other subdivisions, but they are among the nicest places to stay
Which end of International Drive?
Terra Verde Resort and Spa is off 192 and about 5 min to International drive.

If your looking for the upper part of I-Drive their are none. You can%26#39;t rent a villa with-in Orlando for less that 30 days. Indians Wells is about the last area heading North out of the Kissimmee area with villas.
A map that I found useful was this one

You would have to drive like Schumaccer to get from Terre Verde to I Drive in 5 minutes unless of cousre you are talking about the very start where there is nothing.
A bit of honesty please from the villa owner in Terre Verde.
I think you will struggle to get one as it is in Orange County and they have changed the rules for STR. Indian Wells/Ridge are closest at about 5 minutes as the are at Buentaventura Mall and I Drive is just up from there but not the main shops just the area for development.
Hi Julie
We stayed in a lovely villa in the Hamlets which is just off the 192. Its a really good location but I don%26#39;t think you will get one near international drive as it%26#39;s too built up.
Probably Indian wells is your best bet.
Hope you find something!
Heather
